I was enjoying my new job. My life had totally changed. I was living a luxurious life. I could help my family and my mother the way I could. It was really surprising for me that the days were never same for anyone on this Earth. All comes to you all of a sudden and you need to accept that in any case. Meanwhile Honey asked me to register myself in a matrimonial site. I had got myself registered in one of the sites, and the rest of them had copied my profile from the previous site itself. Proposals started coming through the sites but they were not perfect for me. I used to see the profiles of the boys whenever I used to get time and if I liked any profile I used to send message to the concerned person. Sometimes I had sent the message to the parents also by pretending that I was also the parent of the girl. It was amazing to find a life partner on my own where my family had given me so much liberty to choose my life in the way I wanted to be.

In 2006, when we shifted, just two months after that, Honey had come across a profile whose mother was a Doctor and the boy was working in multinational company. His mother along with his brother in law came to see me and they asked us to come and see their family. They compelled us so Honey decided to go in the first week of July. So me, Honey and Mom went together to Mumbai to meet the boy and his family. Aanchal, my Bhabhi, also joined us in Mumbai and the next day was decided as the day of meeting. Around six in the evening we reached the boy’s place. We all went to Mumbai by flight. And Honey had told Anchal that I could not travel in the local trains of Mumbai, so we took a taxi to reach our destination. The whole family was there. I met the boy separately and he asked me few questions. When we left boy’s father wished me luck, I was surprised. After that the next day we left for Delhi.

After that Honey asked his colleagues to enquire about that boy. He was surprised to know that that boy was having an affair. He was so much annoyed that he called up his mother the next day and gave her a good scolding. This was our first failure. Life could not be easy for me in any case this I had come to know whether it is job, marriage, money or anything else. For everything I had to struggle. Honey used to check proposals on sites whenever he got any mails and he forward that to me. It was going on in this manner.
