I had decided to resign from my first job and I had prepared to submit my resignation in the next morning. It was as usual, I was marking substitution with my HOD for the absentees on that day. Then I told my HOD that I was going to submit my resignation that day. She was surprised as I was settled in my job there. She would lose a good teacher so asked me to stay there only and told me that she would talk to the Principal regarding up gradation of my designation. My colleagues also asked me not to leave. But once I decide to do anything no one can change my mind regarding my decisions. After taking my class I went to the Principal, to submit it. She was surprised to see that. She asked me whether I was getting married. I told her as my family was shifting from here so I would had to move along with them. My colleagues told me that I would get a better job than the current one. To work in a metropolitan city like Delhi is a good exposure. But to start again was a big challenge for me. But I had decided and I sacrificed my job for my family.
In almost all schools the new session started from the month of April, I had resigned by the end of March. So I thought that to search a job was going to be an easy task. My brothers also said that now you need to relax for some time. By mid of April we packed up and moved to Delhi. The next morning was very beautiful and relaxing. I didn’t had to get up early at five and rush to school. I had my bed tea and read the newspaper. Then I and mom went to the market in the evening to find out from where we could get groceries and other things. The next evening Honey took us to a Mall. We had dinner there only. Now Honey wanted me to change my attire also. I used to wear salwar kameez only. Slowly I started changing my wardrobe with jeans, skirts and capris. The time and the place had changed. So accordingly I had to change myself. But soon after a month or so I started feeling bored. I had nothing to do in the whole day. I spoke to my brothers that I would like to try for a job again. They asked me that why I had to do that. I told them I can’t sit without a job as it is difficult to spend the whole day by doing nothing. Now I had started looking after the newspaper for the vacancies.
