Ghud chadi started at around 6pm. Sisters had to walk behind the horse on which Honey was seated. I and Gudiya were walking with some raw rice in our hands which we needed to throw after every step. Everyone was mad to dance in the baarat. The noise of the band baja was very hip hop and thrilling. After every five minutes we used to wait and then danced for some time. Honey was telling me that while we were all busy in dancing, it was difficult for him to balance himself on the horse as he thought that he weighed more than the horse. Jokes apart, everyone was super excited after reaching the nearby temple, there was a short puja ceremony. Then we all sat in cars and reached the location which was nearby the banquet hall. Honey sat in the bagghi and we all danced with enthusiasm on the road and with too much excitement. Finally, we reached the banquet hall. We all were welcomed by the bride’s family. Then we left Honey on stage and had some snacks and coffee. Then we went to see the bride. I had also invited my last school’s friends in the wedding. The clicking of the photographs, dance on music, dinner and the arrival of the guests started simultaneously. I and Kalpana didi were at the gate for the welcome of the guests. After half an hour or so, the bride arrived and jaymala was exchanged. After that, there was again a long session of photography. Everyone enjoyed the wedding so much. As this was the first marriage in the family, each one of us was excited to sit in the phere ceremony as well. By the early hours of the morning the marriage was solemnized and around 5 am in the morning the vidai ceremony was performed and time had come for Aanchal to leave her parents and go to Honey’s home. We reached early at our own house to welcome our bhabhi. Mita bhabhi (wife of Anurag bhaiya) did the aarti and then they were welcomed home. We left Aanchal to take rest for some time because in the evening she had to be ready to meet the various guests. In this way all enjoyed the wedding and the love story of Honey and Aanchal had now started.
