As my search for a suitable partner got into a limbo, I started looking forward to secure my admission in any suitable course. I sorted out the list of different universities for a number of correspondence courses. I had initially decided to opt for a MBA course but it was of no use in the Education field. Honey and Chuttan also advised me that it would be of no use for you. They were advising to go for M.Ed degree. But I was least interested. Then I came across a ‘Leadership course in School management’. I searched it on the internet and was enquiring about its validity in Education field. Time was passing by.

As I had mentioned earlier, Honey got married before me. The story behind this was that the girl’s family started putting pressure on Honey that time was passing fast and I was not getting a nice proposal from any side, but Honey was still waiting for my marriage. This I came to know from mausi. Then I spoke with my mom and I decided to ask Honey to get married. He was against this as he strongly wanted me to get married first. But my belief was that if he would get married before me, the girl could settle in our family and she would gel with mom so that mom would not realize the loss of my company if I would get married.

In this way Honey’s marriage was decided. But when we asked girl’s parents about this, they asked us wait for another year. But then finally they got ready and I and mom went to Dwarka to decide for the final date of his marriage. He asked me not to discuss his and Aanchal’s (my bhabhi) horoscope with the astrologer as there were confusions on that part. He confirmed me that he would marry Anchal only in any case, as it was a long affair of seven years. I also pressurized mom that the girl should not suffer just because of me. She had also waited for long time and finally the day was decided as 18th February 2012.We didn’t organize their engagement as Honey said it was a mere waste of money. In this way mom and I started shopping for that grand occasion of the first marriage in our family. Nani was also happy as her grandson was getting married.

Honey had told me the amount which he could spend in his marriage. When mom and I used to go for shopping, mom used to ask me to pay the bills as I was not extravagant in any case and the varieties in clothes and other things which we had selected were better option to gift. Honey was happy as we would manage the expenses for clothes and gifts etc. We went to Chandni Chowk, Kamla nagar, Karol bagh, Sarojini market, Lajpat nagar and finally our native place i.e Uttar Pradesh for shopping. Every alternate day we used to go for shopping. Second and fourth Saturdays were also a better option as it was off in my school on these days. I strongly believe that as marriages are made in Heaven and God has decided for Honey‘s life so his marriage took place about which I would tell you in the next blog of mine.
